Albino Snake "Primo"

After I finished these, I realized that they reminded me of Primo, my friend Basinah's red-tail boa. This pair went home with the most lovely Melodia, but you can have your own pair if you like. Medium to long strands only, depending on the size of the shells. Numerology is nine.

Somewhat similar in design to Tiger Lily, Kalahari is named for the colour combination (black, cream, and variegated browns) which reminded me of the desert's beauty and life. Kalahari is only available in the colours shown and in long length.

Bhodi

Bhodi is named for the mala bead strands. A strand of mala beads is very much like a rosary. It is used in meditation, to help keep count of our mantras. There are 108 beads on a string and there are 108 shells on each strand. The number 108 is significant on many levels. It is representative of the nine planets, multiplied by the twelve astrological signs. In numerology, the numbers in 108 add up to 9, which is the number of completeness and wholeness.

The total still adds up to the number 108 by adding the shells in both strands together. For those that want the meaning of Bhodi in a shorter length. Available in medium length only.

Majick Of Nine - Medium Length

The Majick of Nine tassels are a series of tassels in all lengths and in various combinations of numbers multiplied by three to equal nine. All of the combinations in each strand add up to Nine, which is just a wonderous number in itself. Pick any length and combination of colours to form this majical combination!

Mardi

Named for the fantastic Mardi Love, who inspired me to start creating my designs. I met Mardi at Tribal Fusion Faire in San Luis Obisbo in December 2005 and told her I had named a design after her. She couldn't have been more gracious, and I couldn't have been more thrilled to finally meet her in person.

Mardi is available in long length only.

Summer Corn was designed specifically for the lovely Politti, who very graciously told me that "there must be peacock feathers" and then let me run with her favourite number and colour choices.

When I think of Politti, I think of the Summer Harvest with Blessings Ceremonies and I imagined Indian corn in all of it's glorious colours. Those images are how these strands were born. Thank you Politti, for letting me create something for you!

Ultra Short

Colinette Point 5 yarns are used for the tassels on the cowry strands and for dreads.
